    HFI founded as the "House of Foam"

    Made first part for Honda (Accord DX) supplying to Bellemar
    1986
    Assisted Tokyo Seat in establishing TS Trim; made Civic rear seat cover
    1991
    Performed Civic door “Kimekomi” assembly
    1997
    Opened the first Mexico facility in Ciudad Obregon. Started the production of Molded Foam; made Isuzu Rodeo seat trim cover.
    1998
    Started Accord center console components
    2001
    Opened the Arab, Alabama facility. Started Acura seat trim sub-assembly
    2002
    Opened second facility in Mexico in Monclova
    2003
    Started Toyota seat trim sewing
    2004
    Started "foam-in-place" headrest
    2005
    Rapid expansion into wrapped interior components
    2010
    Consolidated operations to Gender Road Headquarters and expanded into vacuum form and additional small part foam
    2012
    We started operations at the third plant in Mexico in Romita, Guanajuato.
    2014
    Expanded to a 100,000 sq. ft. facility in Romita Mexico.
    2015
    Opened San Luis Potosi, Mexico facility for small parts foam production and opened a warehouse in Eagle Pass, Texas.
    2020
    Moved our R&D and Michigan technical center to Troy, MI.
